Inabuchi Terraced Rice Fields and Kashihara Insectarium

I went to see the terraced rice fields in Inabuchi, Asuka, Nara prefecture before getting too cold. The rice harvest was done and could not see the shining rice plants, but it was the calm place to be able to feel very clean air.

I dropped by the Kashihara city insectarium on the way home because it is close to the rice fields. When I entered its greenhouse, I was surprised seeing so many butterflies flying around. I had no idea there is a place like this. It is difficult to take photos of moving insects in general. However, I could release shutters as many as I like on so many butterflies resting on plants.
