The thousand year cherry blossom tree at Butsuryuji Temple

Yesterday, the owner of a souvenir shop at Tanzan Shrine told me that I must go Butsuryuji Temple in Uda City Nara if want to see cherry blossoms. I was curious about the story, and so visited the temple today. The reason for his recommendation seemed there is a large cherry blossom tree over 900 years old and it is in full bloom right now. The area around the temple was very quiet. Even though it should be the famous place, there were few tourists. Colorful flags swayed in the wind in front of the temple buildings.

The flowers casually arranged on the ordinary tables were pretty simple but very beautiful in the sunlight.

Even the roadside flowers were nice.
