Lotus flowers at Fujiwara Palace Ruins

Muggy summer days continue recently. In a cooler early morning, visited Fujiwara Palace ruins where a lot of lotus flowers are planted. It was very comfortable to walk along paths surrounded by the flowers. (All photos taken with SIGMA sd Quattro H)

Found crayfishes in the water. There were grasshoppers and dragonflies camouflaged. Small butterflies also.
