Cluster amaryllis in Asuka village and streets of Takatori-cho

As it is the season for cluster amaryllis, visited Asuka village, Nara. Around Asuka-dera Temple, the contrast of red cluster amaryllis and green rice fields was beautiful.

On the way back, dropped by Takatori-cho, known for medicinal herb industry preserving atmosphere from the Edo period over 150 years ago. There were few visitors and very quiet.
