Foveon Monochrome Challenge

2026-09-21

The YouTube algorithm led me to the Ricoh GR IV monochrome camera. I don’t know why though. I am curious about monochrome photos, but I cannot afford to purchase the camera due to its price and scarcity. However, I noticed that the SIGMA DP2 Merrill could be an alternative to the GR, and I tested it near the Kintetsu Nara station. To be honest, it was fun. (All photos taken with SIGMA DP2 Merrill in B/W mode)
