Cherry blossom season is now closing in Nara City

The cherry blossoms along the Saho River Nara City had passed its peak last weekend, and fallen petals are covering the roads. Instead, a kind of cherry blossom called Yaezakura is in full bloom. It was raining today, so only few tourists came to see the cherry blossoms. I like a rainy day because it’s quiet and can focus on photos. I took out SIGMA DP2 Merrill today. Do the photos taken by DP2 Merrill look nicer than those taken by DP3 Merrill? (The photos all taken by DP2 Merrill + closeup lens AML-2 occasionally)
The water droplets were so beautiful that I took photos of wild flowers and even fallen leaves other than cherry blossoms.
